Audition Process

• All interested families should read through the Triumph Academy website and watch as many of the linked videos as you can.
• You are highly encouraged to read "Courage to Grow" by Laura Sandefer (co-founder of Acton Academies - Austin). This book tells how a tiny one-room schoolhouse sparked a worldwide revolution. Told by the cofounder and mother, it is a testament to the magic unleashed when children take control of their learning, with a surprising secret a parent discovers along the way (available on Kindle);
• OR Read "Unschooling Rules" by Clark Aldrich (a quick read, also available on Kindle).

• There is a nonrefundable $25 fee associated with the online audition and tour.

• Families who have read one of the books listed above or listened to at least one podcast listed in our "In the News" tab, and who have filled out an online audition form, will be invited to visit Triumph Academy in-person. The studio is located on 10 acres with rolling grass, woods, chickens and ducks, a garden area, two play sets and a sparkling spring. The studio boasts 2,000 square feet of open indoor space with varied seating (couches, wobble balls, etc.). Serious applicants will be invited to see our studio and meet our children, Triumph Academy heroes who will be in the studio with prospective students.
